At the heart of Kasumi's philosophy is the refined Japanese art of Omotenashi, a hospitality concept centered on thoughtful service and a perfectly curated dining experience.

Guests can expect to be enveloped in an atmosphere that balances luxury with warmth, ensuring that every visit feels like a special occasion. Located at a prime waterfront spot, the restaurant not only delivers on taste but also offers stunning views, making it a tranquil escape paired with exceptional cuisine.

"We are beyond excited to bring Kasumi to life here in Boca Raton. Our goal is to offer a dining experience that both honors and modernizes the deep-rooted traditions of Japanese cuisine," shared Eric Hammer, Kasumi's General Manager. "The team is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to share our passion for world-class food and service with our guests in this beautiful setting."

Kasumi's thoughtfully crafted menu features a variety of sushi and sashimi, prepared with the freshest locally-sourced seafood and premium fish flown in directly from Japan. In addition to sushi, Chef Yagihashi has created standout dishes like Obanzai Garden Vegetables, Shio Koji Sea Bass, and Chicken Toban Taki, each a modern interpretation of classic Japanese fare. Complementing the food, Kasumi offers an extensive selection of sake, Japanese whiskies, artisanal cocktails, and an impressive wine list, ensuring that every dining preference is catered to.

The restaurant's sleek and sophisticated interior, designed by Heidi Avedisian of White Ink Design, enhances the dining experience. Avedisian, known for her work on both coasts, has curated a space that feels both coastal and modern, with organic elements like teak, rattan, and limestone seamlessly blending into the serene waterfront setting. The interior’s soothing marine palette complements the restaurant’s location, offering a relaxed yet upscale ambiance.

This highly anticipated opening is set to make waves in Boca Raton’s ever-evolving culinary landscape. Located along the scenic Intracoastal Waterway, just at the entrance to the Boca Inlet, Kasumi positions itself as a one-of-a-kind waterfront dining destination, offering both locals and visitors a true taste of Japan in an unmatched setting. With seating for over 150 guests across the bar, dining room, and an outdoor waterfront terrace, Kasumi is designed to cater to all types of dining experiences, from intimate dinners to larger gatherings. Additionally, a new private dining room will be available later this fall, perfect for hosting exclusive events and special occasions.

Kasumi is now open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday starting at 5 p.m. Guests are encouraged to make reservations via OpenTable. For more information, visit kasumiboca.com, and stay updated on the latest happenings by following @kasumiboca on Instagram
