Habibi Miami, a French Moroccan supper club is opening this summer on the Miami River, promising sunset parties and nightly entertainment shows

Updated: Jun 20

Habibi Miami, a new French Moroccan supper club, is set to open this summer at 452 N.W. North River Drive, adjacent to other hotspots in the Miami River District. This waterfront concept is the brainchild of nightlife hospitality pioneer Roman Jones, founder of Kiki on the River, in partnership with Ikam Rebaia, known for his work at popular Miami-Dade nightclubs like El Santo Miami, Marion Miami, and Queen Miami Beach. Aris Nanos, managing partner of Kiki on the River, will oversee operations at Habibi Miami.

Designed to evoke a royal retreat to the French Moroccan Riviera, Habibi Miami features a 30-foot-long red carpet entrance, an outdoor patio, and a bar, with a capacity for 200 guests. The venue promises sunset parties and nightly shows featuring belly dancers, contortionists, and percussionists. The creative vision for Habibi Miami, led by Mark Lehmkuhl of Ghosthouse Design Group in collaboration with Love Lake Studio, showcases Wes Anderson-inspired retro décor, vibrant colors, and Moorish architectural elements.

The menu at Habibi Miami includes shareable Middle Eastern dishes, while the bar offers cocktails inspired by North African and Mediterranean flavors, along with tea service. The restaurant is one of three new ventures Jones is launching on the Miami River, taking over the location of the former Captain Tom’s Seafood Restaurant from the mid-1930s. The property, owned by Miami Riverwalk Inc., sits on a 4,308-square-foot lot.

Habibi Miami promises to transport guests to the French Moroccan Riviera with its luxurious ambiance, exquisite cuisine, and captivating nightlife. The design, featuring Alhambra elements, crystal chandeliers, Turkish rugs, and silk draperies, creates a retro wonderland reminiscent of a Beatles-era Tangier fever dream. Guests can enjoy a culinary journey with dishes like Merguez Pigs in a Blanket and Whole Roasted Cauliflower, and innovative cocktails like the “Ali” Fashioned and Moroccan Margarita. With its nightly entertainment, Habibi Miami guarantees an evening of theatrical indulgence. The supper club is slated to open this summer at 452 Northwest North River Drive.
