While construction continues toward an expected mid-2025 completion date, The Residences at 400 Central is quickly shaping up to be more than just a residential tower. The project, which offers 301 luxury condos, ground-floor retail, and premium office space, reflects a larger vision for the future of urban living in St. Pete. Its sleek, modern design comes courtesy of Arquitectonica, enhancing the city’s downtown with a bold new look.

John Catsimatidis' passion for St. Petersburg is brought to life in his bold vision for The Residences at 400 Central, a development that aims to honor the charm of the coastal city his family fell in love with decades ago. Rising 515 feet on Central Avenue, this live-work-play destination is poised to become the tallest building in Pinellas County. Designed by renowned architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica, the building reflects the unique landscape where land meets water. The team behind 400 Central sought to capture the essence of St. Pete's vibrant downtown and waterfront, creating a striking addition to the city’s skyline that will connect St. Petersburg to a global roster of cities known for Arquitectonica’s modernist designs.

Beyond its iconic architecture, 400 Central offers residents a blend of luxury, convenience, and entertainment through more than 35,000 square feet of curated interior and exterior amenities. Designed by Vincent Celano of Celano Design Studio, known for its collaborations with top hospitality brands, the spaces feature a warm, coastal-modern aesthetic. Amenities include a resort-style pool deck, private co-working spaces, a grand lobby, and a theater lounge. At the pinnacle of the tower, the Sky Lounge Observatory offers floor-to-ceiling glass windows and a glass elevator, providing breathtaking views from Tampa Bay to the Gulf of Mexico, delivering an unmatched living experience on Florida’s west coast.
